You can register for classes on, or after your assigned priority date. To determine your priority date, please refer to the registration information that is e-mailed to you as a continuing student, and check “My Assigned Registration Date s under Registration in My Mission Portal. New and returning students are assigned a registration date after successful processing of an application.
Priority Registration is given to students that complete the 3SP steps.
All housing rates are for the entire summer (May 6 – August 8). a week in advance of their intended move out date to cancel their summer housing assignment.
A new placement process is in effect for Fall students. Unless applicants meet one of the test exemptions, the Reinforced Instruction for Student Excellence RISE test is required to evaluate any areas in which you need refresher help. The exams are grouped into specialties such as automobiles, medium and heavy truck, truck equipment, school bus, collision repair and more. Many employers require ASE certifications. The test is offered in a computer-based format. There is no fee to take the RISE.
The placement can take approximately two to three hours and is available Monday — Friday. Tier One: whole numbers; fractions and mixed numbers; decimals; ratio, proportion and rates; percent; measurement, geometry and real numbers. Tier Two: solving equations and inequalities; graphing; exponents and polynomials; concepts in statistics. Tier Three: rational expressions; radical expressions and quadratic equations; factoring; systems of equations and inequalities; and functions. It is not a pass or fail test but it is important to do your best.

Students must complete a consortium agreement. Work Study. If you do plan on being enrolled in at least six credits, the Financial Aid Office will determine your work study eligibility. If you do not plan on being enrolled in at least six credits, and you are interested in work study for the summer, please contact the Financial Aid Office. No visitors will be allowed on residence hall floors. The no visitor rule is necessary to reduce the chance for spread of COVID to the residence hall from outside sources and to facilitate contact tracing.
Students may have visitors in the lobby or common areas, but they are subject to social distancing guidelines. Parent visits will be allowed but must be scheduled in advance by emailing housing abac.
